Evidence-graded strategy reports
Strategy Reports are how Valdez BioStrategy thinks in public — not blog posts or generic summaries. Each one separates approved evidence from trial findings and emerging hypotheses, reads mechanism against outcome, and ends with decision-relevant insight.
How we grade evidence
Not every claim carries the same weight. We label each one by stage, so that strategy rests on what is actually known — and so the difference between an approval, a single trial, and an early hypothesis is never blurred.
GLP-1 and Incretin Therapeutics
From a single diabetes drug to a multi-organ metabolic platform — approved indications, trial evidence, emerging frontiers, mechanism read against outcome, and the trials that defined the field.

Why the field's bottleneck has moved from discovery to judgment — platform medicine, what translation history teaches, where the gap now sits, and what biotech leaders need.

The emerging treatment landscape for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, graded by evidence stage.
Beta-cell preservation and islet biology
What is known, contested, and unproven about preserving beta-cell function and islet health.
Obesity pharmacotherapy beyond GLP-1
Amylin, polyagonism, oral small molecules, and other mechanisms shaping the next wave of obesity therapeutics.
Metabolic disease biomarkers
Decision-relevant biomarkers and endpoints that connect preclinical mechanism to clinical readouts.
Cardiometabolic organ protection
How metabolic therapies reach the kidney, liver, heart, and vasculature — and what that means for indication strategy.
"Planned" reports are in development and not yet available. This page lists only what is published.
